Their Story

Irembo is a technology company founded in Kigali, Africa. They deliver services and innovative solutions that enable public agencies to process millions in revenue digitally and help citizens access public services efficiently. Their goal is to offer public or private organisations the opportunity to digitally transform to offer users services that have a meaningful impact.

Discover & Define

With a desire to expand their products, we were tasked with helping the Irembo team design their target service experience which would act as a north star for future roll-out. Through research, mapping and onsite workshops, we identified opportunities within localised and international government, core pay products for SMEs and a hybrid platform for essential services & utilities. For phase 2, we were tasked with developing Gov 3.0.

Develop & Deliver

We worked onsite and remotely with Irembo's new product innovation team and government chief technology officers to create an MVP self-serve government service builder; turning a design from scratch every time into a modular and repeatable process. We developed core flows and a prototype that was tested with internal and external teams. Irembo hopes to launch its MVP in 2024.
