Their Story

Create Recruitment has spent over a decade placing high-calibre talent into the world’s most respected fashion houses and emerging design studios. With deep-rooted industry knowledge and a network of creatives, they are trusted by the likes of McQueen, Burberry, and Stella McCartney. Yet, their digital presence had not kept pace with the sophistication of their offer. Their brand felt subdued. Their website—difficult to navigate and dated in tone—lacked the impact expected by clients and candidates operating at the highest levels of the fashion industry. The ambition was twofold: to create a bold new brand expression that captured the agency’s essence, and a digital experience that celebrated their knowledge and accolades.

Discover & Define

Brand We immersed ourselves in fashion culture, developing three creative directions. The Artisan Playground celebrated behind-the-scenes craft—an evolution of their existing brand. The Fashion Insider positioned Create as the go-to source for fashion intelligence, rooted in experience, rich in insight, and backed by industry gravitas. Their chosen route - Legacy Meets Edge reflected Create’s ability to bridge heritage fashion houses with new-wave disruptors. Digital Product Alongside this, we conducted an expert review of the existing site. The homepage lacked narrative, navigation was fragmented, and key pages for clients and candidates were missing. The job board was cluttered and difficult to filter. There was no space to spotlight the team, no centralised resource hub, and little content to showcase their specialisms or sector insight.

Develop & Deliver

Brand The final identity is rich in tone and layered in meaning. A bold serif wordmark and custom monogram pattern give Create a distinctive visual presence. The colour palette draws from fashion’s most opulent hues—maroon and coral. Photography was reimagined to feel more editorial. The tone of voice moves away from flat corporate language, embracing something more poetic and provocative. Inspired by the idea of creative tension, we introduced the “Create / Destroy” concept—positioning the brand as a champion of transformation in an industry that thrives on reinvention. Digital Product We restructured the site architecture, creating tailored journeys for clients and candidates. Specialisms were moved out of job listings and into their own curated space. A dynamic job board was introduced with filters for location, contract type, and salary—enhancing both usability and conversion. A new content hub brought together articles, downloads, and features, while recruiter profiles were surfaced in job listings to foster a more personal connection. The site was built using NextJS and Prismic to ensure performance, scalability, and ease of ongoing updates.
